Naming decision — "Ever Async"
Decided 2026-08-06 after a naming brainstorm + registry-RDAP availability sweep.
Why "Ever Async"
- Names the philosophy and the category: the product exists because "this is SO weird in the async world we live in." Target buyers self-identify as async-first teams.
- Fits the Ever portfolio (Ever Gauzy, Ever Teams, Ever Works, …).
- The only shortlist candidate with a completely clean domain sweep.
Domain availability (verified via registry RDAP, 2026-08-06/07)
All available at decision time — none registered yet (owner will register):
everasync.com · everasync.co (house TLD) · everasync.ai ·
everasync.io · everasync.net · everasync.app · everasync.dev
Plan: register .com + .co + .ai as the core set; .io/.app/.dev optional defensive cover. Cloudflare Registrar, same flow as previous campaigns.
Runners-up (and why not)
| Name | Verdict |
|---|---|
| Ever Brief | Great double meaning (brief = short; to brief = give context) but everbrief.com is parked for sale on Atom.com |
| Ever Context | Owner's early favorite; "context" judged too crowded in AI right now; evercontext.com/.ai/.io taken |
| Ever Gist | Friendly, full domain sweep — but "gist" collides with GitHub gists in the exact target audience |
| Ever Signal | Collides with Signal messenger — confusing for a product living inside chat |
| Ever Talk | Original working name; sounds like a chat app itself, and "Talk" signals more talking when the product wants fewer, better messages |
| Ever Clue / Cue / Loop / Weave / Fluent | Insulting edge / homophone mess / domains taken |
Trademark search (USPTO/EUIPO) still pending — domains were verified, marks were not.
